Swiss WorldCargo and Cargologic to continue a successful partnership for a further seven years.

The long-running successful partnership between Cargologic and Swiss WorldCargo is set to continue: the success of the arrangement has been reaffirmed by a new agreement between the companies concerning freight handling operations at Zurich airport. The new agreement, which has been signed for a duration of 7 years, bears witness to the two business partners' long-standing commitment to continuity in quality and reliability. The contract was signed on 20 July in Zurich.

Regarding the signing of the contract, Oliver Evans, Chief Cargo Officer of Swiss WorldCargo, says: “The proven experience and reliability of Cargologic, clearly shown in the quality of the services provided, clinched the deal. The industry-wide quality metrics of Cargo 2000 place Swiss WorldCargo consistently amongst the leaders, and frequently number one worldwide. This reliability across our entire network is the result of teamwork by each of our local units working in close cooperation with our handling partners, most notably our long-standing hub operator Cargologic. The management and staff of Cargologic are loyal, meticulous and highly committed, and have played a correspondingly important part in our success.”

“Swiss WorldCargo’s customers demand speed, efficiency and reliability. But the best processes and most modern infrastructure or IT systems alone will not deliver the required performance without the right attitude. It is this aspect of the supply chain to which we devote the most attention, creating a spirit of joint endeavour, pride and mutual respect: only a professional and committed partner like Cargologic makes this possible.“

Peter Widmer, Chairman of the Cargologic Board of Directors, is also pleased with the new agreement: "Cargologic has now been a member of our group of firms for nine years, and is on track for confirmed growth."
Cargologic draws upon on 50 years’ experience in air freight handling. The long-term renewal of the partnership between Swiss WorldCargo and Cargologic is not just important for contract partners themselves. It is also a clear commitment to the Zurich Airport location and a substantial contribution to its future development.
